A tradition
of the National Cherry Festival continues with
a Junior Royalty program, which includes elementary
aged prince and princesses and our National Cherry
Queen scholarship program.
Kaley Schroeder, 19, was born and raised in Ludington, Michigan. She is the definition of a small town young woman with big time goals and ambitions. She currently attends Grand Valley State University pursuing a career in Therapeutic Recreation and Psychology. Kaley is passionate about all aspects within her life and those yet to come.
Kaley was crowned on Friday, July 7, 2006 at the National Cherry Festival's Queen Coronation at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa.
Kaley has visited the Michigan State Fair, various Festival's and events throughout Michigan and will be visiting the Tournament of Rose's at the end of the year. She will participate in many festivities during "National Cherry Month" in February 2007, along with events leading up to the 81st National Cherry Festival, July 7-14, 2007.
